Last thursday i was painting kid’s faces in Gzeera club with Resala in the Resala Carnival for Orphan’s Day, i totally very enjoyed

the painting, was my first time and was worried if i can paint on kid’s faces without causing any Distortions on their faces specially that am not very much into painting  , i googled some tips for face painting and watched some tutorials on youtube then went for the mission.

if you know me in personal, you know how much i’m over loving kids every where, i believe they can get me out of any

bad mood whatever am feeling they make me feel happy once i see a kid’s smile

so i sat there painting Butterflies, Cats, tigers’ faces for about four hours and really had fun,most boys wanted to get

spider man’s and tiger’s faces and most girls wanted the cats and butterflies except Rana that insisted to have a wild face with blood on it and refused all the trials to paint her a butterfly

all the girls didn’t show their smile before we put a  lip-stick for them, girls are always girls

but all kids were happy once we put alot of glitter on their faces and i don’t know why they love glitter that much but actually i loved to put glitter as much as i can to hide all the mistakes i made with it

not to mention that each kid that chose a kinda complicated face , i told him that it’s not good and convinced him with another

face that is much easier for me to paint , LOL

If you are a mom i think you should learn face painting it’s really easy and you can do it in kids’ birthdays, will be much fun .

طيب ايه رأيك انك عملت كده فعلا و مش بس ساعة دول 16 سنة أو أكثر ؟

ده للأسف اللي حصلك لما اتعلمت في مصر في المدرسة و بعدها في الجامعة ,  طبعا الحقيقة انك ولا اتعلمت أي حاجة لأ و كمان طلعت من ال 16 سنه بعد ما فقدت أي مميزات أو قدرات عقلية أو مواهب كانت عندك

أنا عارفة ان ناس كتير جدا بتقول نفس كلامي لكن أنا فعلا عايزة حل لأن أنا متأكدة ان اللي إحنا فيه مش بس نتيجة عدم النظام و التخبط و أن مفيش سياسة واضحة للتعليم في مصر و في ناس بتحاول تلاقي حلول زي ما بنسمع ,الكلام ده مبقاش بيقنعني أبدا ,أنا بقيت متأكدة ان في ناس مستفيدة من الوضع السيء ده , في ناس يهمها اننا منتعلمش أي حاجة

المشكلة ان مفيش حلول جزئية ,يعني مثلا  التعليم الخاص مش حل ,أنا كنت في مدارس خاصة و ماتعلمتش حاجة و نفس الكلام ينطبق على الجامعات الخاصة

,كمان التعليم الأجنبي American Or British

مش حل للمشكله بردوا

لأن الناس بتطلع منه غير انها ما تعلمتش حاجة ,كمان مش عارفة تقرأ عربي

بعد التفكير مش لاقيه حل غير انك لو لسه بتتعلم يبقى ماتديش أهمية كبيرة للتعليم ده أيا كان و تدي وقت و اهتمام أكبر للحاجات اللي هتعلمها لنفسك ,علم نفسك كل حاجة كان المفروض تاخدها من التعليم ,يعني تاريخ و لغات و ثقافة مش بس العلوم المتعلقة بمجال دراستك أو شغلك و لو عندك أطفال أرجوك ما تسيبهمش  للتعليم  عشان يدمرهم,   نمي وعيك و ثقافتك و علمهم انت إلى أن يظهر في مصر تعليم بجد يعتمد عليه

P.S. : الدكتور انهارده كان بيقول في المحاضرة

” الجزء ده ما يهمنيش أنك تفهمه بس المهم تصمه “

أيوه أنا في كلية هندسة  Computer engineering !!

actually i do love reading books and know how much reading affected my mentality and personality.

so i have an idea that i’ll implement on my blog In Sha’ Allah :

Each friday ,i’ll post a review of what i read in the whole week , in a way to force myself not to stop reading

and do something useful for others too .

Each post will include my review of the book ,what i liked and disliked ,

and u can comment only if u read something in the previous week and wanna share it with us

Scmp which stands for:  Scalable Community Messaging Platform ,is a platform that

holds a variety of services that are sharing and integrating the same resources.

One of theses services is chat service that we managed to have it working -only yesterday-on the first sprint of the project .

But actually i’m writing this post to talk about what i loved in SCMP and what i learned from working in such project

even if my contributions were not big enough but what i learned really worth sharing:

1-I Can  Code ! : yes am really happy with this ,as i was like alot of people who love programming

learn new things from now and then ,study programming languages,but also couldn’t  code

or let’s say didn’t know from where is the starting point for programming so being able to write

a test code -even if it’s easy- and managing to understand the code in a huge system like SCMP is a very nice way to go for me !

Note:by “coding”  i don’t mean being a code writer but being a programmer.

2-Live coding gatherings : this is the part i really liked alot,to be with a group of smart people sharing ideas for hours

-or even listening to them- was a very inspiring and useful thing .

3-Team Work : with a team led by a girl like :Amal – who i consider a java geek – ,team working was awesome!

each one in the team has a task and whatever can help him to do it-books and Tutorials-and if he fails in any part

he asks the leader for help untill he manages his task well (and all thanks goes to Amal).

4-Scrum : in SCMP we had scrum ,we had online meetings to scrum ,so we have to manage our tasks

as we’ll be asked by the manager about what we have done ,discuss the problems we faced ,and take  new tasks to do .

-SCMP is now working, we are preparing for the alpha release .

I really learned alot from this project and had a great time and will continue working in it ISA

and i have to Thank Eng.Ahmed Soliman the owner of SCMP who helped us alot .

the session “Top 10 WordPress Plugins” was great al7amdolellah , people liked it

when i started to talk i was a bit nervous ,but i could control it

What can you do to bend your mind into submission ?

1-Slow down .the more you understand,the less you have to memorize.

Don’t just read, stop and think. When book asks you questions, don’t just skip
to answers.
The more you deeply you force your brain to think, the better chance you have
to remember.

2-Do the exercises. write your own notes.

Don’t just look at exercises, use your pencil.
You must know that physical activity while learning can increase the learning.

3-There are No Dumb Questions !

That means all questions.They are part of the core content, Don’t skip them.

4-Don’t do all your reading in one place.

5 – Make this the last thing you read before bed. Or at least the last challenging thing.

Your brain needs times on its own, to do more processing.
If you put in something new during that processing time, some of what you just
learned will be lost.

6- Drink water. Lots of it.

Your brain works best in a nice bath of fluid. Dehydration decreases cognitive function.

7 – Listen to your brain.

Pay attention to whether your brain is getting overloaded.
If you find yourself starting to skim the surface or forget what you just read, it is time for a break.

8 – Talk about it. Out loud.

Better still, try to explain it out loud to someone else. You will learn more quickly.

9 – Feel something!

Your brain needs to know that this matters.
Get involved with the stories.

10 – Type and run the code. Or design something!

Apply this to something new you are designing or refactor an older project.
Just do anything to get some experience.
